Does Onyado Nono Asakusa Bettei allow tattoos? Yes, covered
Tattoos are allowed if up to two cover seals hide them completely, the largest 11.8 cm × 17.2 cm (4.6 × 6.8 in). The bath, Ryoten no Yu, is on the annex's own black spring.
The inn's own FAQ says seals are provided “depending on the facility” and that stock is limited, so bring your own of the right size.

The bath
Ryoten no Yu, in the basement, draws the same kind of water as the inn next door: the annex's own black spring, odorless, smooth and oddly colored. In front of the indoor tub is a large painted view of old Asakusa by a craftsman who has drawn the district all his life, and beside it a jet bath. The sauna is the difference here, a hot dry sauna with self-löyly and a soft aroma, followed by a chilled cold bath. Outside, in the open air, is a hot pot bath under a half roof. Open 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning; the sauna is off between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.
The hotel
117 rooms in more shapes than the main inn: doubles, queens, superior queens, kings, twins, triples and deluxe triples, all with tatami floors and Serta beds. Check-in is 3 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m., with the chain's buffet breakfast.
