Does Yudonburi Sakaeyu allow tattoos? Yes!
Tattoos are welcome here, with nothing to cover. The bathhouse's English page says “Our shop is tattoo OK!”
The FAQ says tattoos are fine, with no size limit and no conditions.
The bath
The operator makes an unusual claim plainly: every bath in the building uses natural hot-spring water, and so do the showers and the taps at the washing stations, a soft water the skin notices. The big open-air bath holds two kettle tubs per side and the rice-bowl tubs the place is named after, run through with fine bubbles and filtered over bakuhanseki stone. The sauna is the other reason people come: the automatic heat-wave now copied all over Tokyo started here, with a fine-bubble cold bath beside it and a trailer sauna outside; the women’s side was rebuilt in May 2024. Open 2 to 11 p.m., from noon on Sundays and holidays, closed Wednesdays. Adults pay ¥600, a bathhouse rate; the sauna is extra.
