Does Spa & Hotel Maihama Eurasia allow tattoos? In a private bath

Private bath only

The shared baths are restricted, but a private or in-room bath is open to you. You are bathing alone or with your own party, so the communal rule does not apply.

Private bath in the room, for anything four seals cannot cover. The spa’s own terms admit a tattoo hidden by up to four of its seals, 10×15 cm each, bought at the spa counter — seals you bring are not accepted — and refuse anything larger outright, in any circumstances. The balcony rooms have a bathroom with a washing area and the spring water piped in, which is the answer for a larger piece.

The bath

The spa is the draw for most guests — the resort’s only natural hot spring, with open-air baths, saunas and a rooftop terrace — and its terms are exact about tattoos: four of the counter’s own 10×15 cm seals at most, nothing you brought, and nothing larger under any circumstances.

Which is why the room matters. The Balcony and Deluxe Balcony rooms, 27 and 36 m², have a proper bathroom with a washing area and the spring water piped into the tub, so a guest the spa will not admit still bathes in the onsen, alone, with the door shut.

The hotel

A spa hotel on the edge of the Maihama resort, a free shuttle from Maihama STN and the Disney gates, also serving Urayasu and Shin-Urayasu. Rooms run from 26 m² standards to the balcony rooms facing the resort, with Japanese-style rooms and a high-floor premium grade above. The standard rooms have ordinary baths; it is the balcony grades that get the spring.

What happens when you arrive

Do not use the shared baths — the rule there is a refusal, and the private bath is the whole reason this listing exists. Reserve it the way the property requires: the notes on this page say whether that is a time slot booked ahead, a request at check-in, or a phone call. Once the door is closed nobody is checking anything.

Best for: An in-room onsen bath ten minutes from Disneyland, when a seal will not do

The only natural hot spring in the Maihama resort area. Hotels.com lists it at a 3.5 class, which the star stamp cannot show. The refusal wording for larger tattoos is the strictest on this page — found inside, you pay and leave — so treat the spa as closed and the room as the whole point.
